Leeds United have reportedly made an approach to Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv regarding the potential signing of forward Dor Turgeman, according to Sport5.
The Whites have enjoyed a strong start to the season, currently sitting in 3rd place in the Championship, just three points behind league leaders Sheffield United. After a busy summer transfer window, Leeds made significant player sales and reinvested much of the proceeds into new signings. However, the club is expected to remain active in the January transfer market as they continue their push for promotion.
Turgeman, a key figure for Maccabi Tel Aviv, is now reportedly on Leeds’ radar. The Israeli club is said to have set an asking price of €5 million (£4.1 million) for the 22-year-old forward. Although Maccabi would prefer to keep Turgeman until the end of their season, they are reportedly open to a January departure if the right offer comes in.
Leeds United are keen to strengthen their squad further as they aim for a Premier League return, and Turgeman’s potential move to Elland Road could be one of the key transfers of the upcoming winter window.
