Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye has revealed that the club’s new stadium is generating excitement among players and staff alike, as the Toffees continue to undergo significant changes both on and off the pitch.
Speaking in an interview with the club, Ndiaye expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming move to Everton’s new home, which is expected to be a transformative step for the Merseyside outfit.
“The new stadium that is coming, I think that excites everyone,” Ndiaye said. “It’s seriously impressive. The players who have been here for a long time and the players who have just arrived, I know we are all ready to give more than 100 percent to have the best season possible and go into the new stadium in a good place.”
Everton fans have much to anticipate, with the stadium project making visible progress and a proposed takeover by the Friedkin Group nearing completion. However, reports suggest the takeover could lead to a major review of the club’s structure, with manager Sean Dyche and director of football Kevin Thelwell among those reportedly under evaluation. Additionally, some staff members may be required to reapply for their positions.
