Tottenham Hotspur is set to face their cup nemesis, Manchester City, in the Carabao Cup tomorrow, and manager Ange Postecoglou is gearing up for a challenging match. In a press conference today, he addressed the team’s lineup, particularly the left-wing position, which will be vacant due to Heung-min Son’s absence.
“Richy has obviously played a lot of his football on the left, and he’s definitely an option there for us, as well as an option through the middle,” Postecoglou stated. He noted that Richarlison is gaining valuable match minutes and is becoming more integral to the team’s plans. “He’s only just getting his season started, so the more we can expose him without overburdening him in the early stages, the more he’ll be able to contribute.”
