Tottenham Hotspur Eye Surprise Move to Re-Sign Harry Winks

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a sensational return for former midfielder Harry Winks, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The 28-year-old, a product of Tottenham’s academy, was a key figure during Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure but struggled for regular minutes after the Argentine’s departure. Winks eventually sought opportunities elsewhere, first with a loan spell at Sampdoria before making a permanent switch to Leicester City last year.

At Leicester, Winks played a pivotal role in the Foxes’ promotion back to the Premier League and has impressed with his performances this season, helping Steve Cooper’s side maintain a position above the relegation zone.

Fichajes claims that Spurs are eager to bolster their midfield options next summer and view Winks as an ideal addition. The report suggests Tottenham are prepared to offer £32 million for the England international, who will have just one year remaining on his Leicester contract at the end of the season.

While Leicester are reluctant to part ways with Winks, they may be compelled to sell to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2026.
