West Ham United is eager to secure the permanent signing of defender Jean-Clair Todibo, but the deal hinges on one crucial condition. According to reliable source ExWHUemployee, the France international will make the move permanent if the Hammers avoid relegation battle.
In a report from October 28 via the West Ham Way, ExWHUemployee noted, “We can exclusively reveal that the only thing preventing Jean-Clair Todibo from being a permanent West Ham player is whether the club stays in the Premier League.”
Currently sitting in 13th place after a 2-1 victory over Manchester United on October 27, West Ham’s position in the league is critical.
Todibo joined the club on loan from Nice with an obligation to buy, contingent on specific criteria being met. It was initially believed that he needed to feature in over five Premier League matches to trigger the permanent transfer, a milestone he achieved by making his sixth appearance on Sunday.
“Todibo replaced Mavropanos at half-time on Sunday and went on to have a very solid game,” ExWHUemployee added. “This will be positive news to West Ham fans who have been impressed with the French international’s start at the club.”
As the season progresses, the Hammers will be hoping to solidify their Premier League status to secure Todibo’s future in East London.
