Swedish international Dejan Kulusevski, one of Spurs’ standout performers this season, has shed light on his perspective about facing different opponents, emphasizing his preference for matches against stronger teams.
In an interview with SportBladet, Kulusevski highlighted why clashes with bigger teams hold a special appeal for him.
“I think it’s easier [against bigger teams], because they try to play football,” Kulusevski explained. “They don’t cheat. It’s more football against the best, and I love that—then you meet each other on the same terms.
“They have more quality, and we play man-to-man, so it becomes more important for the individual to finish his duel, but we are not afraid.”
The winger’s comments, shared via SportWitness, underline his confidence in Tottenham’s ability to compete with top-level sides.
