Former Leeds United defender Tony Dorigo has once again called for improvement from Jayden Bogle, offering pointed advice after the team’s 4-3 victory over Swansea City on Sunday. Dorigo’s comments come as the £5 million signing continues to face scrutiny for his defensive performances.
Speaking on LUTV following the match, commentator Bryn Law questioned Dorigo about Swansea’s third goal, which allowed Bianchini to equalise. Law asked the Elland Road legend what advice he would give to the Leeds right-back.
“If you had one instruction for the right-back this evening, what would it be?” Law asked.
“Stop the cross. Stop the cross, please,” Dorigo responded emphatically. “I don’t want to go into it again, but stop the cross.”
The critique echoes Dorigo’s earlier frustrations with Bogle’s decision-making. During Leeds’ 1-0 loss to Burnley, Dorigo expressed disbelief when Bogle failed to engage Burnley winger Luca Koleosho, leading to the game’s only goal.
